My name is Roxanne Arabie. I am the mother of three children -- a fourteen year old son, a seven year old son, and a four year old daughter. I am currently employed with Women and Children's Hospital as a part-time biller. I am also enrolled in six hours at McNeese State University. I enjoy reading and doing arts and crafts when I have spare time -- which is not very often.
I recently graduated from McNeese in May 2007 with a degree in General Studies. I am presently working on certification in Pre K - 3 through the Teach SWLA Alternative Certification Program. While completing my certification requirements, I hope to obtain a teaching position. I have applied for a position with the Cameron Parish School Board and will hopefully hear from them soon.
I have no extracurricular activities; although, I am very active. My fourteen year old enjoys socializing with his friends, and since he is too young to drive, I must taxi him everywhere. My seven year old enjoys baseball and was chosen for All Stars last year while my four year old enjoys dance. She recently went to competition at Moody Gardens in Galveston where her age group won many honors. They are both also currently enrolled in swim lessons for the summer.
My children are avid McNeese football fans. They enjoy attending games regularly to encourage the team. We have not traveled to any out of town games, but they would enjoy doing this.
