I am a mother of two daughters, Ashton and Kiersten. I am currently engaged and plan to marry May of 2007. When this family unites, we will be a family of 5. Their ages range from 2 years old to 19 years old. I am a Texan girl at heart. We have a home in Lufkin, TX that we go to on the weekends.
I have been attending McNeese State University since the fall of 2005. I plan to transfer my hours to Lamar University in the spring. I hope to graduate with my Associates Degree in nursing next year.
In my off time, I help take care of our farm. We have 80 head of cows and one bull. Also, we raise horses. I am currently the president of SPURS, a student organization at McNeese. As a member of SPURS, we are required to attend several sporting events.
Basketball and Softball run a close race as my favorite sporting event. They both offer a variety of excitement in attending their games. The only draw back to these sporting events is they have several games during the week. If you are a fan, it can sometimes be time consuming when trying to attend games.
McNeese State University has several opportunities for obtaining a degree. The class schedules are flexible and you have many choices as to what times and days to choose. The only wish that I might have is the parking be a little more flexible. The last few semesters having classes at eight o'clock only means I have to fight for a parking space. This year has been a little easier since I am a junior. Also, I like having the option of doing my work in the computer labs.
