My name is Lauren Ardoin. I am 19 years old. Im from Iowa, Louisiana. I am a goal oriented person, and enjoy working hard to acheive what I want.

I'm currently a sophomore and working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Once I graduate, I plan on working with children with mental disorders. After a few years of working and saving money, I would like to return to school to earn a Masters Degree or PhD.

I do not have much time to participate in extracurricular activities, because of my full academic schedule and my jobs. However, when free time arises, I enjoy shopping, going to parties, bowling, and spending time with my friends.

I am a huge fan of McNeese football, I attend as many games as possible and follow up on the games I am not able to watch in person.

My favorite part of going to school at McNeese, is all of the new relationships I have been able to form. I have met a wonderful young man, who is now my boyfriend, and made several new friends as well.

Windows Vista
The new version of Microsoft Windows, Windows Vista comes with all the user-friendly programs we have come to know with an array of new user-friendly operating systems, more entertainment, and creates for a safer environment than previous versions. Perhaps the most prominent change from XP to Vista is easy accessibility of documents, files, pictures, etc. New programs such as Instant Search, Windows Flip 3d, Windows Aero, and Windows Photo gallery make it easier to store and locate documents. The Windows Sidebar allows you to store your favorite gadgets, such as the calendar; right on your desktop. Another amenity of Windows Vista is the entertainment programs. Windows Media Center, Windows Movie Maker, Windows DVD Maker, and Windows Media Player 11 are the newest wave in easy and fun entertainment. For a safe environment Parental Controls allow parents to restrict website and video game they do not want their children to view. Security tools such as Windows Defender protect your PC from viruses as well as protect your personal information in your computer. It is quite evident that Windows Vista is the most “idiot-proof” version of Microsoft Windows yet. There is no need for the user to be organized, because the programs take care of the filing and recalling. Nearly anything you can think of can be done or created right on your PC. With peace of mind that your PC is protected from viruses and hackers, anyone can enjoy and appreciate using Windows Vista. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/features/top10things.mspx?wt_svl=10304VH_OS_Other1&mg_id=10304VHb1
