Hi, My name is Decovan Bennett. I am 19 and was born in Port Arthur, TX. I grew up in a single parent home where my mother means the world to me. I am the youngest child on both sides, so I guess you can say i'm the baby! In high school I've played football, baseball, and did powerlifting. I am also a very loud talkative person once you get to know me and like to try new things. My favorite past t me is having a good time with friends and helping people. My favorite color is black not that i'm gothic or anything, it just goes with anything. Lastly I am a sports medicine major and have hopes of one day becoming a head trainer/ doctor on a professional team!
With a personality like mine I love to help people. Plus I love sports so I said to myself if i can't play sports I would love to be as close to sports as possable. For my passion of sports i vow to help as many athelets as possible. I figured that in theU.S. we will never run out of athletes. Therefore, I would never be out of a job. I also would like to major in public speaking. Not being shy, was something God blessed me with!
Needless to say I'm a sports lover with a spur the moment at heart. I've tried to praticpate in almost all the american sports. None the less I would love to experience other sports like Cricket, or water polo. As soon as I learn how to swim! When I say spur the moment, if a friend came up with an idea to just get up and do something like flag football, I say lets go.
My faverate sport at McNeese is Cowgirls Basketball. The lone reason is because my cousin plays on the team. Who else is there for you than family at the end. I try to show her the most support as possible, though I don't know much about her. Well thats family, what eles would you ask from me?
The main thing at McNeese that is important, is my grades! I recently lost my grandfather and to his death, I vowed to be the first grandchild of his to graduate from college. Though It is something so simple, none of my other cousins have done it and I know it would make him proud. To make him proud of me and to be the best father is what matters to me from now on.
