I am 24 years old from Lake Charles, LA. I played baseball for 20 years of my life. I attended Barbe High School and played 4 years of baseball. After high school I received a scholarship to play at Hill Junior College. Before completing my second year at Hill, I tore my ACL and had to get full reconstructive surgery. After Hill, I received another scholarship to play at McNeese. Upon returning home, I red-shirted one year and decided to hang it all up. I now coach Little League and USSSA baseball teams for young kids.
My major while at McNeese was accounting. I graduated in December of 2008 with my degree. I am attending this semester to reach my 150 hour requirement to take the CPA exam. I am a staff accountant here at a local firm in Lake Charles.
A couple of other activities that I participate in are mud riding with friends and paintballing with a team we put together.
The sports I enjoy most at McNeese are football and baseball. My family and I are major supporters of both programs and attend all the games.
Something that I found important at McNeese were teachers' and how caring they were to students.
